Munir foundation is named after Mujahidul Islam Munir, He was just an ordinary man, born and raised in Sitakund, Chittagong, Bangladesh. He was a kind, hard worker and a self-made successful person.

“Providing for children, orphans & helpless patients were particularly close to Munir’s heart…”

At the age of 29, he was tested. This was when he was diagnosed with cancer and given only 2 years to live after that. It was easy to fall into despair. And this is very common when people find out they’ve got cancer. But Munir had complete belief in his Taqdeer & satisfaction with Allah’s decision.

A short Description of Munir’s Treatment:

In 2017, Munir was Diagnosed with Diffused Large B-Cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma (Cancer). This time he had to go through chemotherapies & Autologous bone marrow transplants. To maintain the costs of these his family had to take loans and sell the home they owned. Munir was clear from cancer this time.

In 2018, He lived a healthy life.

In 2019, cancer relapsed, Munir had to take chemotherapies, Radiotherapies & Allogeneic bone marrow transplants. During his second BMT Munir’s family had to do crowdfunding to bear the unbelievable cost. And Munir was overwhelmed to see People’s support for his treatment. This is when he expressed his wish to help other patients & Helpless peoples who need help, After completing his treatment.

But this time the transplant was not successful.

Munir started his journey from Duniya to Akhira the ultimate destiny on 29th July 2019. Innlillahi Wa inna ilahi Rajiun.

On the same day, Munir Foundation started its journey to fulfill Munir’s wish and as an initiative for Sadakah-E-Zariah for Munir.
