With a motto "Every patient deserve treatment" Munir Foundation started its journey back in July29th,2019. Munir foundation is named after Mujahidul Islam Munir, He was just an ordinary man, born and raised in Sitakund, Chittagong, Bangladesh. “Providing for children, orphans & helpless patients was particularly close to Munir’s heart…”At the age of 29, he was tested. This was when he was diagnosed with cancer and given only 2 years to live after that. It was easy to fall into despair. And this is very common when people find out they’ve got cancer.  Munir had to take chemotherapies, Radiotherapies & Allogeneic bone marrow transplants. During his second BMT Munir’s family had to do crowdfunding to bear the unbelievable cost. And Munir was overwhelmed to see People’s support for his treatment. This is when he expressed his wish to help other patients & Helpless peoples who need help, after completing his treatment on July 29th Munir left us and on the same day Munir Foundation was born to fulfill Munir’s wish.

Yes, we are registered under Society Registration Act-1860 at Sub- Registers Office, Sitakund. The Deed number is lv-09/5483.

Establishing independent Village Medical and Research Center.

Munir foundation actually stand by the patients who are forced to go abroad for treatment but they cannot afford it. Therefore, we ensure to have quality treatment for people. Besides, we also focus religious values and importance and last but not the least we give a keen look on professional ethics in medical system.

Zakat Sadaqah Management:

We are mainly influencing the use of Islam in our regular basis. From that perspective, we raise the awareness among the wealthy Muslims about Zakat and Sadaqah. Moreover, we assure the detailing of the donator and the acceptor of Zakat Sadaqah.

Patient crowd funding activity:

This project standby the needy population scattered here and there in Bangladesh by collecting the donation from the crowd through an online platform.

It’s an Open-Source Crowd funding Platform. Anyone who can operate a mobile, of any age can donate here. Since the amount of donation is not specified, the minimum amount is 10 taka and the maximum amount is up to your wish Donations can be made by an individual.

Using Online platform such as Online Banking and using cards of different bank, the donations can be access easily.

Initially, the applier must apply for the funds with proper documents through online. Then the verification team of MUNIR Foundation will verify it physically and finally we go for the crowdfunding through social media’s posts.

We work basically all over Bangladesh. We always lend our helping hands to the needy persons.
